Service Description

An automatic transfer switch (ATS) when it detects a failure or in the primary source voltage failure. When a primary power supply system fails, the ATS calls a standby power source, such as an uninterruptible power supply. An ATS can also start up more long-term backup power systems, such as local diesel generators, solar panels to run electrical equipment until power is restored.
